We pay by cash or e-Transfer. Payment happens at pickup, before the vehicle or equipment is loaded and before our truck leaves. You never wait for a cheque in the mail or chase a payment after your car is gone. Let us know which method you prefer when you book.

Not if the vehicle matches what you described. The offer only changes if a major part is missing that was not mentioned, the vehicle or machine is different, or the paperwork is not available. If anything does not match, our driver explains it before any paperwork is signed, and you are free to say no. That is our quote promise.

Usually, yes. A car that starts and drives is in better overall condition, and that shows in the offer. Newer models and larger vehicles such as trucks, SUVs and vans also tend to get more. We buy cars that do not run too.

Every car is different, and metal prices change week to week. A fixed price list would be wrong for most cars most of the time. Instead, we look at your details and give you an exact offer for the car you actually have.

You need the signed vehicle registration (APV250) in your name and photo ID that matches it. Our driver brings the Transfer/Tax Form (APV9T) and fills it in with you at pickup, with original signatures on all four pages. No. The car must be registered to the person selling it, with clear ownership. The one exception is an estate. If the registered owner has passed away, the executor can sell the car once they show legal authority to sell it.

No. We only buy vehicles with clear ownership, which means the loan is paid off and there is no lien. Once the loan is cleared, we are happy to make you an offer.

We need the registration to buy the car, because it proves the car is yours. Get a replacement from an Autoplan broker first, then call us for an offer.

Plates belong to ICBC and stay with you. Take them off before the car is loaded. If you are not putting them on another vehicle, return them to an Autoplan broker.

Most heavy items are picked up with free towing. Depending on the item’s value, its size and the site, the result is a cash offer, a no cost pickup or, rarely, a removal charge. We tell you which one applies before booking, so there are no surprises.
